Good Business Model

Many people aspire to build a business from the ground up with fresh ideas. That's fine! On the hand, there is nothing wrong with modeling a business after another company. Buffett is a good model, and so is Bill Gates. Gates and Buffett are good models, but most people can't invest or trade on that level. It's certainly nothing wrong with trying to get on that level. It's the nature of the beast, if I come with a great idea some will come behind me and model their business after mines. Here's a good question for inspiring investors;

McDonald's claims their hamburgers are good, and so does Burger King. If both are selling the same product, in this case hamburgers, both claim they are good, then what's the difference in the sandwiches?
