We as Investors don't have to buy shares in only American companies. Alibaba is the equivalent of Amazon, but it's a Chinese institution. Dr. Ready's Laboratory (India), and Prudential (UK) are other companies traded on US stock exchanges. These aren't stock tips, but it's an encouragement to spread the money around.
