
Temperament Is A Valuable Asset In Investing

Temperament is a valuable asset to have when investing in the stock market. It's a high risk high reward business. The stock market is a money machine. There are tools in place to try and control our emotions in terms of making us feel fantastic, or, in panic mode.
Below is a graph from my Robinhood account from this morning. As we can see it took a dip to the downside. I actually can profit at this point by selling some shares, but I choose to hold and don't sell anything. In fact, I made a transaction with Alibaba this morning to add to this account. Alibaba is China's version of Amazon.
This graph is a good example of a diversified portfolio. I don't have all my eggs in the same basket. It's important to show or at least acknowledge the red days as well as the green days. I have no problem with acknowledging my red days. I would encourage folks not to put too much emotions into your decisions. Diversify your portfolio not with just stocks, but with other income producing assets.
